The Truth Chair
The Truth Chair is named for what it shows you.
It produces the lucid dream state: that delicate place where you dream while fully awake. This state is achieved by its form and function of suspending you in a comfortable seated position, where it shifts your gravitational reference point from below to above; then you gently swing. With eyes closed, the mind tries to locate itself in the swing arc. At some point it stops trying. In that moment of release, the lucid dream state arrives.
The chair could be my best invention because it lets a person learn their own truth through form; no words needed: just motion and gravity, two first principles. Your body's lifelong relationship to gravity becomes something to release, which opens your mind in a very effective and gentle way of knowing. The reason why the dream state can teach you your truth is because this is the state where your filters are at a minimum. This is where you can see your true reflection. Ask a question in this state, and you get a truer answer than while in waking consciousness. The Truth Chair is the Guru that doesn't have to say a word.
